EdTech Tool of the Week (6/30/21)

Flipgrid has been a popular tech tool for years now, but I think the attention it has gotten is for a good reason. I even featured the tool as one of my Top 5 EdTech Tools of 2020. 

In case you aren’t familiar with Flipgrid, it is a video discussion platform that can be used with students of all ages. Flipgrid amplifies student voice and engages students through the power of video.

Teachers can create and share discussion topics with their learning communities. Teachers can add co-teachers, called co-pilots. Once the teacher has set up the activity, learners can open the Flipgrid app or website, enter their unique Join Code, and then respond to the discussion prompt by recording a short video. Students can even add effects like fun filters and stickers to overlay on their video.
