About EdTech Classroom

Hi, I’m Maddie.
I help teachers implement education technology, project-based learning, and design thinking into their classrooms.
I started my teaching journey right at the intersection of education and technology, as a classroom STEM teacher and instructional technology coach.
I created EdTech Classroom early in my career with the goal of growing in my own professional development as an educator. I started writing blog posts late at night after hard days of teaching.
I’d write about what worked in my classroom, and more importantly, what didn’t.
Now, fast-forward, I’m still teaching students.
But, I also teach teachers how to incorporate technology and project-based learning practices into their classrooms.
Let’s learn and grow together,

EdTech Classroom Impact
I started EdTech Classroom to make an impact on my own classroom. Right away, I noticed a boost in student engagement when I began reflecting more regularly through blogging. Then, I noticed a change in outcomes as I experimented with different strategies and edtech tools. Now, I hear from readers and viewers every single week who share the impact that EdTech Classroom has had on their classrooms.
Let’s take a look at the numbers.
